English Language Challenges
So here it is, last post of the year.
This was my first english class at university ever, I studied for a few years a different career in a different campus but i skipped through English so all of this is new to me.
At first i didn't know what to expect, I wasn't sure about taking this class but I think at the end it's worth.
Use of blogs was weird at first but I got used to it, I keep forgetting some punctuations and capitals and stop using slangs because that's what I'm used to (sadly). The only thing I didn't understand is why we don't get some sort of feedback after posts (I don't blame the teacher, I checked and he has so many blogs to check).
I noticed I kinda know English but not the rules behind it, I guess I know how things work after reading similar things time after time and trying to solve how they work out but I still have troubles with grammar. I guess the best way to get over it is practicing.
I used to chat a lot and learned slangs and what people call "neighborhood" English which is not too good. Now I'm not related to as I used to the sites and people I used to chat with so I kinda miss that type of practice lately but not all of it. I still have to gather information from sites that are based on English, I guess that's better than nothing at all.
That's what I usually use English for besides music. I usually google a lot about new words I hear or slangs so in some way my vocabulary keeps growing (maybe not in the right way) but that's better than nothign at all.
